THAT’S THE DATE of the Baltimore County CHADD’s
First-ever "V.I.P. Servers Dinner."
It will be a delightful evening with celebrity, business, professional and other volunteer "waiters" in costume who will serve dinner and entertain for "tips" (donations). Your tax-deductible contributions will benefit the Baltimore County Chapter of Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorders (CHADD), and the National Office which relocated recently to the Baltimore-Washington area.THE DOORS WILL OPEN
in the Maryland Ballroom of Marriott’s Hunt Valley Inn at 7:30 p.m., with a display of distinctive silent auction items including paintings, arts and crafts, tour and horseback riding certificates, theatre tickets, getaway travel packages, dinners-for-two, children’s items, and much more. Dinner will be served promptly (and with appropriate flair!) at 8:00 p.m. Baltimore County CHADD Members and Dinner Co-Chairs Barbara Hawkins and Carol Watkins, M.D., promise that during the program there will be an abundance of "Server hi-jinx," auction bidding, door prizes, and unbelievable contests. At the end of the evening you’ll witness the bountiful Pot ‘o’ Gold 50-50 drawing and announcement of "Best V.I.P. Servers" and "Best Attendee Theme Costumes."BALTIMORE COUNTY CHADD NEEDS:
More V.I.P. Servers – volunteers, business people, Chamber of Commerce officials, community leaders, CHADD members, anyone willing to be a waiter who will "serve and entertain for donations" and bring in his or her own "Table of Ten" ….. Corporate sponsors to underwrite costs ….. Auction items and door prizes ….. People to assist with decorations, ticket sales, set up, registration, advertising, printing services, and running the auction.- DATE :Saturday, May 22, 1999
