• Dr. Ivan's Depression Central  
  Dr. Ivan Goldberg is a psychiatrist who has been active on the web in psychopharmacology related sites. This site has a large amount of information on psychiatric disorders and psychiatric medication. Dr. Ivan does not use commercial support for this site.
  
• Quackwatch
  Quackwatch, Inc., a member of Consumer Federation of America, is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to combat health-related frauds, myths, fads, and fallacies. Its primary focus is on quackery-related information that is difficult or impossible to get elsewhere.
  
• The Merck Manuals Online on Merck publishes medical manuals for for consumers and separate manuals aimed at health care professionals. These are well-organized and regularly updated. Merck also has veterinary manuals available online too.

• Pharmacology and Childhood Medications: About.com articles and links related to childhood medications.

• MT Desk Weekly Update of Medical Equipment and Pharmaceutical Companies  A list of the companies that manufacture pharmaceuticals and medical devices
• Pharmaceutical Journals on the Web
  Links to pharmaceutical journals that publish abstracts and full-text articles online.
  
• New Drug Development and Approval Process
  This explanation of the drug approval process is sponsored by the Big Pharma, an association of most of the major pharmaceutical companies operating in the United States. It is very sympathetic to the role of the pharmaceutical companies in developing medications.
  
• Free Prescription Program  
  This NAMI site provides information on how to obtain free or reduced price medication for low-income patients.
• Partnership for Prescription Assistance
  A list of companies that provide this service and how to contact them (from the pharmaceutical industry) This site provides access to many of the forms that one needs to fill out to apply for free or reduced fee medications.
  
• Center Watch 
  This is a clearinghouse for information on clinical trials of new and experimental medications. It also lists information on medications recently approved by the FDA. 
  
• Medication Interactions
  Use the drug database from CVS to look for potential interactions between prescription medications.
  
  
• NOAH Guide to Psychiatric Medications. Information on usual dosages, indications and side effects of many psychiatric medications.

• Med Help: This site has been online since the mid-1990s. It is oriented towards consumers and includes forums for a variety of types of medical disorders. The forums are generally moderated.
